Project 365 - Janie with Cone

Janie has a sore toe that she keeps licking and will not leave alone. I took her to the vet, and they suggested we try putting a cone on her so she can't lick her toe. Nice idea, but these things are obviously not made for greyhounds. Her nose and legs are so long that she can still get to the toe, so after 2 days we took the cone off. She hated it and tried everything to get it off. Here she is pouting because mean mommy is taking an embarrassing picture. ;) She is on antibiotics, so hopefully her toe will heal quickly and she will leave it alone.

Project 365 - Ice Skate Dishcloth

I am so addicted to knitting dishcloths. I have learned so much from them. I belong to an online group that does two knit-a-longs (KALs) each month. This is the first one for 2009. Last year I completed all 24 dishcloths for the year.

Project 365 - FlyLady Timer

I use my timer every day to keep my self on track and keep from getting sidetracked for too long. I learned this from FlyLady. When I have something I don't want to do (like cleaning), I set the timer for 15 minutes. If I want to continue after that I can, and this is what usually happens. But, if I feel like stopping, I give myself permission to do so. "I can do anything for 15 minutes." :) Most of the time on weekends I will do 15 minutes of fun and then 15 minutes of work and then 15 minutes of fun again. It really helps me get a lot done.

I think this crucifix in my church is so beautiful! I love the style, and I especially love the colors.

Project 365 - Bunny Teapot

My stuffed bunny, John John, gave me this lovely bunny teapot for Christmas. I love blue and white china, and I love bunnies, so this was a perfect gift. The top part is the tea pot, and the bottom part is the tea cup.

Project 365 - Peaches & Creme Yarn Order

I am an avid dishcloth knitter, and I just placed an order at Peaches & Creme for some yarn for the monthly knit-a-long (KAL), and I also ordered some cones and some grab bags. I am in yarn heaven. I will post all of the items individually later.

Project 365 - Wallet

I love my wallet because it has a flower on it, and it is made with bright colors. I wish I had a purse to match it! The wallet was made by Fossil, and I got it on sale for only $12! There is not usually much in it, but I love it anyway. ;)

Project 365 - Wedding of the Stuffies

John John and PJ got married today, and so did TwoJay and Leah. It was a beautiful wedding. ThreeJay and Maddy are engaged but not ready to tie the knot yet.
